Where to buy Cheap Warhammer 40k and Age Of Sigmar Miniatures ?

If you too find Warhammer miniatures from Games Workshop expensive, and if like me you’re looking to save a few euros, you’ve come to the right place ! Our passion for the hobby is an expensive one in any case, but !

BitzBox.eu is exclusively dedicated to tips on how to enjoy the Games Workshop hobby.

Between discount shops in the UK and France, where you can find cheaper miniatures, and the second-hand market, I’ve tried out some alternative solutions to help you save money on your miniatures!

Buy your miniatures on Warhammer’s shops at low prices

If you want to buy cheap Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar miniatures, there are several online shops that compete with Games Workshop: they are all French or British platforms offering Warhammer at discount prices, so the miniatures are imported from the UK, where they are made.

But don’t panic : we’re talking about new, official products, not counterfeits ! You won’t find any cheap knock-offs in the three shops we’re going to introduce to you.

Oupi, a safe bet from France

Oupi is an up-and-coming shop specialising in miniature games, including the unmissable Warhammer universe. The shop offers a wide range of tabletop games, including Star Wars Legion, Infinity, Star Wars Shatterpoint, and many other nuggets for enthusiasts, such as Citadel modelling equipment.

With the successful launch of its online platform, Oupi.eu has quickly carved out a place for itself among retailers. It’s the place to be if you’re looking for Warhammer miniatures at irresistible prices. Here’s a tip for fans: discounts of up to 20% off the entire range are available, depending on current Games Workshop promotions!

Wayland Games, an old hand

Update on Wayland Games and Brexit : By leaving the European Union, the United Kingdom has lost the benefits of the Union, including the free movement of goods. Wayland Games is a shop based there which means that when you order, your order is an import order, which means that you have to pay several fees, VAT, customs fees and carrier fees for the formalities. Before you order, be aware of this.

Wayland Games is a very large distributor specializing in table games including our famous Warhammer. You can find other Wargames like Warmachine, Hordes or Infinity, board games, trading card games or role playing games.

The opening of the waylandgames.co.uk online store has been profitable for the brand, which has quickly established itself as Europe’s largest independent retailer in the field. Definitely a good value to buy your Warhammer action figures, we made a complete review with reviews of WaylandGames! We are talking about -20% discount on all Games Workshop products!

Element Games up to 25% off

Update on Element Games and Brexit : By leaving the European Union, the United Kingdom has lost the benefits of the Union, including the free movement of goods. Element Games is a UK based shop which means that when you order, your order is an import order, which means that you have to pay several fees, VAT, customs fees and carrier fees for the formalities. Before you order, be aware of this.

For its part Element Games is also an independent table game retailer with a physical shop and gaming centre in Manchester. In addition to the online store elementgames.co.uk, we have done a complete review with reviews from ElementGames.

You will also find table games, Wargame, role playing games, board games… but by presenting yourself as the outsider against Wayland Games, you can enjoy aggressive prices. We’re talking about a 25% discount on some products!

How much can you save by buying your figurines cheaper?

In order to make you understand more simply the savings made by buying your miniatures on discount online stores, let’s take the example of a Space Marine regiment for Warhammer 40k which is composed of :

  • 1 Captain Space Marine : 25 €
  • 1 Command Squad : 30 €
  • 1 Tactical Squad: 35 €
  • 1 Assault Squad : 33 €
  • 1 Devastator Squad: 36 €
  • 1 Venerable Dreadnought: €36
  • 1 predator : 46 €

The prices that are displayed next to each unit are those offered in the shops or on Games Workshop’s official website. Put end to end, we find ourselves with a full regiment of Space Marines for the nice sum of 241 €

So we decided to search the same figurines on Wayland Games to compare their respective prices. And the result is without appeal with a final basket at 146 €. This is still 40% off compared to the price found at Games Workshop!

Delivery times for Warhammer orders

When buying on shops like Element Games or Wayland Games, we are talking about figurines imported from the UK. The delivery time is therefore necessarily longer than for a purchase on Games Workshop official website or in a French store.

Nothing too bad either, as it takes an average of one week from the moment you validate your basket on the site to its reception at your home. At least, this indication is correct if the shop has stock on the product you bought, otherwise it will take time for the shop to get it from Games Workshop.

In the opposite case, you will also have to count the time that the shop replenishes its stocks to be able to send your order. The delivery time may therefore be somewhat longer, up to two to three weeks in total.

Are all Warhammer action figures available in these shops?

Whether for Warhammer 40k or Warhammer Age of Sigmar not all miniature boxes are available on these shops, the reason is simple: the Games Workshop shop retains exclusivities.

So there are two types of miniature boxes that you won’t find, shop or Hobby Center exclusives and web exclusives. A brand strategy to keep its customers on its website or these game centers.

But don’t worry, the vast majority of miniatures are available at lower prices on these shops.

Another way to find cheaper figurines

The other way to find cheaper figurines is to go through the second-hand market. You can browse through flea markets to find what you’re looking for, but this operation is greatly facilitated by several services that allow individuals to exchange or sell their figurines: Ebay and Facebook Market.

Ebay

Ebay is the leader of the sites which allows private individuals to put their second-hand items for sale with an auction system or for immediate purchase. On such an important site, it’s easy to find everything you’re looking for, but watch out for the prices!

On Ebay, miniature sellers have gradually “professionalized” themselves, thus increasing prices upwards. But with a bit of luck, it’s still possible to get some good deals.

Facebook Market

The function allowing the sale or exchange between individuals on Facebook can find itself to be the eldorado of a second hand miniature hunter.

There are indeed many specialized groups that gather players, collectors and miniature hunters, and thus Warhammer.
